Whilst much of our work is for clients only we're proud to be able to share publicly a few of the resources we've developed. SMEs Weathering the Storm ![]() 2014 - 2017 Our series of "Weathering the Storm" guides continues to expand, enabling a growing range of local authorities to engage with their SMEs on key issues related to flooding, climate adaptation and business continuity. These guides to the key impacts (and opportunities) that climate change can have on SME operation also include a range of local case studies, and simple checks and actions to take. Greater Manchester version coming soon September 2014 As the first stage of our work for the National Police Estates Group we have produced an Eco Handbook for officers and management of all England and Wales Police Forces, the Home Office and ACPO. The text of this new guide is not publicly available but the client is happy for it to be adapted for non-profit purposes by other public sector bodies. For more information contact info@ailsa.org For a taste of the approach this handbook takes you may be interested to see our original Eco-Reps publication produced in 2013 for a consortium of 24 public sector organisations in Cheshire. Creating and Managing Resilient Local Highways Following on from our series of events for Climate UK on local highway climate resilience we have produced this management guide for practitioners. The guide provides an introduction to identifying, addressing and appraising risk. It includes example tools, matrices and case studies from real world situations. You can view the document here. |
